CHArts Showcase

  • St John's Cathedral Oban Scotland (map)

Argyll artists will be showcasing their work in an inspirational programme of exhibitions, experiences, workshops and discussion to St John’s Cathedral in Oban, on the 14th of September 2019.

The day, organised by CHARTS, a network of creative people and organisations living and working in Argyll and the Isles with the objective of supporting, connecting and growing the creative industries sector, will provide an immersive cultural environment to meet, learn and experience our diverse and talented network of culture, heritage and arts professionals.

There will be an opportunity to meet with representatives of the recently constituted CHARTS SCIO, and learn of its plans for the ongoing support of the sector.

The Walking Theatre Company will be hosting a youth drama workshop ‘THE CRAZY CELTS’, as well as performing an excerpt from ‘MACBETH THE RED’.

The event takes place on Saturday September 14, with an open exhibition between 11am and 5pm, and an evening reception between 6pm and 8pm. For more information, visit
